Satyanshu Singh hails from a family with a rich artistic background. He is from a small town called Munger, in the state of Bihar, India. As a child he had a very versatile and deep taste in music, literature, performing arts and movies. After high school, Satyanshu went to Armed Forces Medical College, Pune for a graduation degree in Medicine. He ultimately decided not to pursue medicine and moved to Mumbai to begin his career as a filmmaker. Before leaving medical school, he made an 85-minute movie on his school mates
